We are week one into our Summer Organizing Challenge and we want to hear how things are going?    Your homework was to walk around your home or office and identify areas you want to organize or clutter clear  Then create a list and a timeline to complete the project(s).  How did you do? 

This can be a tough step for a lot of people as they want to dive right in, but taking a few minutes to assess and plan your project can greatly increase your success.  This is why when working with a client the first step is always a consultation to plan and prioritize. 

This Week’s Tip:  Assess your situation; plan and prioritize.  Walk around your entire home and evaluate.  Imagine you are a guest walking into your own home.  How does it make you feel?  Are you proud of your home?  Do you want to live there?  Ask yourself these questions: (more…)

It’s July and we are full swing into summer.  How are you doing on those summer projects?  In case your home or office is driving you mad, here’s an invitation perfect for families, stay-at-home moms, and everyone who has ever paid a bill late.  Take our Summer Organizing Challenge. 
 
Here is how it works:

• Walk around your home or office and identify areas you want to organize or declutter. 
• Make a list of projects; prioritize them and give yourself a deadline. 
• At the bottom of this post called Summer Organizing Challenge, commit to your organizing project(s) by making a comment.  In your comment, indicate the area(s) of your home or office you want to organize and your timeline.  Be realistic with what you can really get done by starting with one or two specific tasks.
• Every Monday, celebrate your successes by posting a status update on our blog called Summer Organizing Challenge: Share Your Success.

Other Details:   The Summer Organizing Challenge Dates are July 15 – September 7 (Labor Day).  Blog posts will post each Monday with the title Summer Organizing Challenge Successes.
